Koopman Ostbo commissioned me to create an image to help launch Bob's Red Mill's new product line entitled "Grains of Discovery". The illustration conveys the cultivation of grains from all over the world, from Egypt to India, Ethiopia to Peru.

A number of color versions were explored.  Naming colors and placing elements on separate layers streamlined the revision process.  The team at Koopman Ostbo combined elements of several versions, gave it a crackled effect, laid in type, product photos and antique stamps to play up the vintage travel theme.
